Coffee-to-Water Ratio:

To achieve the Golden Cup Standard (as prescribed by the Specialty Coffee Association), the recommended coffee-to-water ratio is 55 grams coffee to 1 Liter of water  (± 10%).

Use this ratio as a guide and adjust to what works best for you.

55 grams coffee to 1 liter of water

2 oz coffee to 34 ounces of water

French Press Guide

1.  Grind Level:  Course

2.  Heat water to 194 - 200 degrees.  Just below boiling

3. Blossom the coffee by pouring enough water to cover coffee grounds and wait 1 minute.

4.  Pour remaining water and let steep for 3 minutes.

5. Plunge and pour.
